Laser+KeraFactor for Thinning Hair in Los Angeles

Thinning hair is a huge concern. Lifestyle, genetics, age, and the devastation of alopecia can all contribute to noticeable hair loss. Those affected have previously resorted to painful hair transplants, messy colored powders, hair pieces, and even scalp tattoos to regain scalp coverage – or at least the appearance of more hair.

The discovery that deficient natural growth factors and proteins are a primary cause of hair thinning and hair loss led to the development of an active serum that replenishes these needed elements (factors). KeraFactor™ is that serum.

The Promise of Concentrated Growth Factors

KeraFactor contains patented specific growth factors that can reactivate dormant hair follicles and feed the weaker follicles that produce whisper-fine hair. KeraFactor on its own can improve hair restoration, but the real effects are gained when the KeraFactor serum is delivered  INTO the scalp to the level of the follicles themselves. A laser treatment is the first step.

The laser prepares the scalp by creating microchannels to reach the essential hair follicle bulb. These hair-thin fine channels will readily absorb the professional strength Kerafactor concentrated serum. Laser application also improves blood circulation.

The primary goal is to make a pathway for the professional-level serum to reach the targeted scalp area and reinvigorate the follicles’ activity, resulting in thicker and denser hair.

What Happens During Treatment?

Your treatment begins with the mapping of selected areas. Hair is parted to expose the scalp surface, the laser creates the microchannels and the concentrated KeraFactor serum is applied and massaged into the scalp. Treatments take approximately 20-30 minutes depending upon the size of the target areas. There’s no downtime, though your scalp may feel damp.

After applying the serum, you will sit under a red light lamp for 15 minutes. This stimulates the nano-liposomes in the KeraFactor serum, enhancing the absorption of the active ingredients directly into the hair follicles and scalp.

After In-Office Treatment

Do not wash your hair until the following day and we recommend that you not use gels, sprays or other hair products for several days after. You’ll be provided with a set of KeraFactor serums with a lesser concentration to apply at home. Continued use will help maintain and amplify the benefits of the laser treatment and the professional concentrated KeraFactor application.

The in-office procedure is repeated every 4 weeks for your primary treatment series. A maintenance laser/serum treatment is advised every 6 months. Remember, the growth factors in the serum are the key to continued benefits.
